Since I bought my first electronic musical instruments at age 15 I've had a dream: to help shape the future of electronic musical instruments and how people make music.

I knew it would take a lot of education, hard work and help from many people before I would be remotely able to understand and design musical instruments. I am happy to offer our first product to you, the AudioCubes, and I sincerely hope it helps you discover unknown territory in electronic music. Thanks for visiting the Percussa website !

About Bert Schiettecatte

Bert was born in Ghent, Belgium and has a passion for electronic music, musical instruments, and engineering. During his Master's degree in Computer Science at the university of Brussels (VUB) he worked in various web-technology companies and a US company designing audio signal processing software. After studying in Brussels he completed a Master of Arts in Music, Science and Technology, at Stanford University's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) with the help of the Belgian-American Educational Foundation, and returned to Belgium to found PERCUSSA.
